Guadeloupe's supplies are partly provided by cargo planes. The air freight that arrives on the French island in the Caribbean Sea is on so-called “slave pallets”. To move these pallets, PTB has built a custom-made 5-ton pallet truck with no fewer than three forks.
To transport the air freight that arrives on slave pallets in Guadeloupe, Logidom wanted an adequate means of transport. The design of the machine had to ensure that air freight can be moved through the terminals as efficiently as possible.
A 5-ton pallet truck with three forks with a low initial height. Despite the low insertion height, the EPC50S can still carry a high weight. The dimensions of the forks are precisely tailored to the air freight pallets that the customer transports. The pallet truck can be operated safely from a standing position.

The standing position within the chassis was the wisest choice for Logidom because aircraft pallets are often loaded high. The driver of the EPC50S stands against a backrest and operates the pallet truck with an electronic steering wheel and a handle.
