Huf Polska is a leading specialist in the field of secure car access and authorization. The company asked PTB Special Products to develop a means of transport for transporting heavy injection molds.
For the production process of car parts such as brackets and door handles, heavy injection molds are moved through the factory hall. A means of transport was needed to optimize this transport.
A compact pallet truck with a lifting capacity of 6 tons. The EPD60 has a shortened chassis so that the truck has a desired maximum length of 2000 mm. An ingenious battery exchange system ensures that the truck can be used optimally.
In addition to the chassis, the forks have also been adjusted. These are only 190mm wide and have an initial height of 90mm. The compact design of the forks is intended to carry pallets with injection molds.
The truck is used daily and is therefore equipped with an ingenious battery exchange system. By installing the charging system in the factory hall, the battery can be exchanged easily and the machine remains operational effortlessly. In this way, PTB guarantees optimal deployment of the truck.
