Customer case study: In 2017, PTB Special received a special request from the Thai firm Plan B Plus. They wanted us to develop two 10 ton pallet trucks. These pallet trucks had to be able to load heavy material over the slope in containers during which the load should not move in any way. The result: two custom-made and innovative 10 ton pallet trucks.
The challenge
Designing two heavy-duty pallet trucks with a lifting capacity past 10 metric tons that can also transport heavy goods over a steep slope. These pallet trucks will be used in a warehouse in Chonburi, a port city near Bangkok, Thailand.
Two compact and powerful electric pallet trucks with an innovative hydraulic leveling system and a lifting capacity of 10,500 kilograms. Fully custom-made and designed by PTB Special for Plan B Plus in Thailand.
10 ton pallet trucks with a hydraulic level mechanism
Due to an innovative hydraulic system that enables the horizontal forks while driving on a slope, these pallet trucks can position goods in the back of a container and then drive out of the container over the slope.

Level over a steep slope with a load over 10.000 kilograms
The 10 ton Plan B Plus pallet trucks had to be able to drive over slopes horizontally. Our committed developers made a compact 10 ton pallet truck with two powerful electrical engines. An innovative hydraulic system enables horizontal forks while driving on a slope. This custom-made system makes these tow trucks safe to drive and can also be used to position the load directly behind a slope. Normally, this is not possible. Because in situations like that, when a pallet truck or forklift truck drives back the fork tilts and touches the load. Our custom-made leveling systems prevents that from happening.
