A custom-made pallet truck for AGITO Medical

The AGITO Medical facility in Denmark approached PTB for the development and production of a 12-ton pallet truck with a calibrated weighing system. PTB developed and delivered the PTB EPC120W. AGITO uses this pallet truck for transporting heavy MRI scanners in a warehouse. With the launch of this product, the PTB Group is pushing the boundaries of innovation and quality in the sector.

Beautifully Designed

The PTB EPC 120W is a beautifully designed machine. The driver's seat is designed as a stand-sit combination. You can operate the machine while standing, providing a clear overview and visibility of the load-carrying part. Sitting Operation For longer transport distances, you can choose to sit in the machine; you can adjust the backrest to a horizontal position to create a seating area. There is also a backrest available for seated operation. From the driver's seat, you can read the weight of the magnets with precision up to 0.1%.

Technical Details

The machine has a capacity of a remarkable 12,000 kilograms. The load-carrying part of the pallet truck consists of two forks, each 2,000 mm long and 500 mm wide. The width across the forks is 1,300 mm, and the insertion height is 150 mm.

Both forks are equipped with 'fork sleeves,' each of which is fitted with four load cells. The fork board can make a stroke of 100 mm. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with wheels with a polyurethane tread to minimize floor load.
